Kreox develops a leveling wedge that allows us to cover tile thicknesses between 3 and 15 mm without the need for any additional accessories to increase height, ensuring that the wedge remains centered between both tiles for uniform tightening. Thanks to the Aleta Wedge, the pliers do not make direct contact with the surface, and with this improvement, the pressure is evenly distributed across the entire surface.
How to use?
Place Kalzo Spacer Clip
To place the Kreox Kalzo spacer Clip, the initial tile should be positioned and leveled using a rubber mallet. Once placed, excess mortar in the joint should be removed to ensure a perfect finish. Next, the necessary Kalzo spacer Clip will be positioned according to the size of the tile.
Place the Kuña Leveling Wedge
After installing the Kalzo spacer Clip, the second tile will be placed following the steps from point 1, with the difference that in the joint between them, we will place the Kuña leveling Wedge, adjusting it manually or using pliers.
Release tension from the piece
It is advisable to gently tap the tile with a mallet once leveled to avoid tensions.
Remove the Kalzo Spacer Clip
Once the mortar has set, proceed to remove the leveling system using a mallet, tapping the Kalzo spacer Clip always on its lateral side. It is important to know that our Kuña leveling Wedge is reusable, and the leftover Kalzo spacer Clip is recyclable.
